The Journey to Unity
“Unity” is an immersive exhibition by artist Hallie Hart, created during the COVID-19 pandemic as a humanitarian gesture. During the project, Hart traveled across the United States by car and trailer, weaving her way through the country on a mission that celebrated resilience, hope, and the enduring American spirit. At its center stands the monumental US Flag 1812 Unity, measuring 14.5 × 7.5 feet, guiding visitors into a space where patriotism and artistic expression converge. More than a collection of flags, “Unity” offers a narrative of healing and connection, celebrating individuality while honoring the shared spirit of the American people.
